Detail Information Of Mizoram Judicial Service Vacancy 2024 - Grade III Civil Judge Post
Post Name: Grade III of Mizoram Judicial Service (Civil Judge Cadre)Total vacancies: 03 (three) posts
Pay scale: J-1 (77,840 – 1,36,520)
Eligibility Criteria
Educational qualification : The applicant must be holder of Degree in Law of a recognized University.
Age limit : The applicant must be aged between 18 and 35 years on the last date of application. Upper age limit relaxation will be as per government rules.
Character Certificate : Every candidate selected for appointment by direct recruitment shall furnish certificates, given not more than six months prior to the date of the application, from two respectable persons unconnected with his/her college or university and not related to him/her testifying to his/her character, in addition to the certificate which may be required to be furnished from the educational institution last attended by him/her.
Working knowledge of Mizo language of at least Middle School standard.

Selection Procedure For Grade iii Civil Judge Post In Mizoram Judicial Service
There shall be a Competitive Examination for recruitment to this post and it shall consist of a Preliminary Examination (Screening test), a Main (Written) Examination and Viva voce/Personal Interview.
The Preliminary Examination (Screening Test) shall consist of objective type question of 100 Marks, out of which 90 Marks will cover the following topics:
- General Knowledge
- Aptitude
- English
- Constitution of India
- Code of Civil Procedure
- Criminal Procedure Code
- Transfer of Property Act
- Indian Contract Act
- Indian Penal Code
- Indian Evidence Act
- Law of Torts
The remaining 10 Marks will be to test the proficiency in the Official language(s) of the State of Mizoram.
The ratio on the basis of which the Candidates will be called for the Main (Written) Examination shall be 1:10 (for 1 post of 10 Candidates will be called).
Rules For Disqualification
- Canvassing by a candidate directly or indirectly will disqualify his/her candidature.
- Particulars/Details to be mentioned in the application should be completely and correctly stated. Any application not specifying the required information of a concerned candidate shall be liable to be rejected.
- Any candidate who, on verification at any stage of the recruitment process, does not fulfil any of the eligibility conditions, will be disqualified.
