Syllabus for written examination for the post of Stenographer Grade-III

ENGLISH (40% will be the qualifying percentage)
Essay writing, Letter writing, Idioms & Phrases, Common error, Preposition, Synonyms, Antonyms, One word substitution, etc. (full marks 100)

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE (40% will be the qualifying percentage)
General Knowledge of Current affairs, Objective questions (full marks 100)

COMPUTER (40% will be the qualifying percentage):
Test in Computer Application/ Operation (full marks 100)

TYPING (full marks 100):
(A) Speed test will be 35 words per minute
(B) 10 Mins for typing 350 words

SHORTHAND & TRANSCRIPTION (full marks 100):
(A) Speed test will be 60 wpm
(B) 10 mins for dictation of 600 words
(C) 20 mins for transcription of the shorthand of 600 words
