Educational/ Other Qualifications for GHC Kohima Bench Recruitment 2024::

(i) Must be holder of a degree in law granted by a recognized University established by law in India.

(ii) Must have working knowledge with ability to read and write one Naga tribe Dialect from amongst the recognized Naga tribes of Nagaland with practical knowledge of Naga Tribal Customary practices:
• Ao, Lotha, Angami, Sumi, Rengma, Chakhesang, Sangtam, Konyak, Pochury, Chang, Phom, Khiamniungan, Yimkhiung, Zeliang, Tikhir.
• Garo, Kachari, Kuki, Mikir (provided such persons are indigenous inhabitants of the State of Nagaland).

(iii) Candidates must possess the above prescribed qualification/criteria on the last date of submission of the online application.

GHC Kohima Bench Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

The candidates will have to appear in a Preliminary Examination (objective type multiple choices) of 100 marks (2 hours duration).

From the rank wise list of marks of the Preliminary Examination, 10 (ten) candidates will be called against 1(one) vacancy in the ratio of 1:10 for the Final Written Examination.

However, the High Court reserves the right to fix cut off mark in the Preliminary Examination and call only those candidates to appear in the Final Written Examination who obtain the cut off mark as may be fixed by the High Court.

The Final Written Examination will consist of 5 papers viz. Paper-I, II, III, IV (100 marks) and Paper-V (50 marks and qualifying in nature).

All candidates who obtain 60% or more marks in aggregate in the Final Written Examination and minimum 35% marks in Paper-V of the Final Written Examination shall be eligible for viva-voce of 70 (seventy) marks. Provided that Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates who obtain 50% or more marks and minimum 35% marks in Paper-V of the Final Written Examination shall be eligible for viva-voce.

This will be subject to the ratio of 1:3 of the rank wise list of marks obtained by the candidates in the Final Written Examination.

The candidates shall have to secure minimum 60% marks in the interview.

The final evaluation will be in order of merit subject to overall suitability of the candidate.

NOTE: Selection of candidates shall be made on the basis of marks obtained in the Final Written Examination and viva-voce, subject to the cut off mark indicated above. However, final selection shall be made subject to overall suitability to be decided by the High Court.

Phase 3:

• Candidate has to upload his/her Photograph Image and Signature Image. The image format should be either JPG, PNG or gif. No other image format will be accepted. The image size should be between 5 KB and 30 KB.
• After verifying all the details, the candidate should proceed for submission of the candidature/application.

Phase 4:

• After submission of candidature, the candidate should take a print out of the Fee Payment Challan.
• The payment can be made at any branch of State Bank of India after two working days of submission of online application. The mode of payment is cash only.
