Age Limit for NSSB Recruitment 2024

Aspirants intending to apply for NSSB CUS Exam 2024 must fulfil the age criteria condition laid down by the Board so as to be eligible for recruitment.

One must be between 21 years and 30 years of age as on 1st January, 2024 inorder to be eligible to apply for NSSB Combined Uniform Services Examination- 2024.

The upper age limit is relaxable by:
(i) 5(five) years for candidates belonging to SC/ST.
(ii) Age concession for serving Government employees will be allowed, the equal number of years they are in service subject to a maximum of 5(five) years.

Venue of Written Exam for NSSB Recruitment 2024

Candidates can choose 2 (TWO) venue/centre of examination basing on the District of his/her choice:

While filling-up the online application form, candidate will have the option to choose 2 (two) venue/centre of examination basing on the District of his/her choice.

However, in Districts where there are less than 500 applicants, the candidates will be shifted to the second option exercised. In exam districts exceeding the maximum capacity of applicants allotted in case of both options exercised / both options disabled, the Board has the right to select the exam district independently irrespective of options exercised by the candidate.

Examination Fee for NSSB Recruitment 2024

Candidates applying for NSSB Recruitment 2024 shall have to pay an examination fee of Rs. 300/- (Rupees Three Hundred) only.

This examination fee has to be paid via online mode.

Candidates belonging to PwBD category are exempted from payment of examination fee.

Mode of Examination for NSSB Nagaland Recruitment 2024

As per the NSSB Recruitment 2024 notification, the Combined Uniform Services Examination (CUSE) - 2024 will be conducted in 3 stages.

Stage 1 General Paper:
Type: MCQ
Marks: 200
Time: 3 hrs.

Stage 2 Physical Eligibility Test (PET): (Qualifying)
(i) Physical Standards
(ii) Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
(iii) Medical Fitness Test (MFT)

Stage-3: Viva-Voce:
5% of the total marks allocated in written exams

Documents Required to Apply for NSSB Nagaland Recruitment 2024

Candidates must produce attested/self-attested photocopies of the following documents/materials to the Board as and when called for:

(i) HSLC/Matriculation/Equivalent Admit Card for proof of Date of Birth. No other Certificate will be accepted for age proof.
(ii) Indigenous Inhabitant Certificate, Scheduled Tribe Certificate, Backward Tribe Certificates as relevant and applicable (New Format).
(iii) For Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBDs), certificate from competent medical authority under Government of Nagaland is required.
(iv) Proof of Educational Qualifications: Mark Sheets & Pass Certificates/Provisional Pass certificates from matriculation onwards till requisite qualification. If for any reason pass certificates/ provisional pass certificates is not issued by the Board/ Institute/University, a letter/certificate to that effect from the Board/Institute/University must be submitted.
(v) No Objection Certificate (NOC) in original from the Head of Department/Public Undertaking to be furnished in case the applicant is an employee of the Government or Public Undertaking. The signing authority shall be the Head of Department only.
