South Garo Hills DSC Recruitment 2024: The Office of the District Project Coordinator, Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan(SSA) & District School Education Officer, South Garo Hills, Baghmara has recently released an official notification inviting eligible and intending Indian citizens for recruitment to 21 Assistant Lecturer, Headmaster/Headmistress and Asst. 1. Name of the Post: Assistant Lecturer
No. of Posts: 05 (five)
Subject wise Posts Distribution:
■ Asst. Lecturer in English - 01
■ Asst. Lecturer in History - 02
■ Asst. Lecturer in Economics - 02
Salary: Rs. 31,000/- per month
Age Limit: The candidate should be between 18 years & 32 years of age as on 01-01-2024. Age relaxation of 5 years for candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe/ Scheduled Caste is allowed and also for those already serving in Govt. Aided schools upper age limit is 40 years.
Essential Qualification/ Experience:
Master’s Degree in relevant subject with Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from recognized University or its equivalent.
Or
Two year’s integrated M.Sc. Ed. Course or an equivalent course with 2 (two) years teaching experience.
2. Name of the Post: Headmaster/Headmistress
No. of Posts: 03 (three)
Salary: Rs. 29,000/- per month
Age Limit: The candidate should be between 18 years & 32 years of age as on 01-01-2024. Age relaxation of 5 years for candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe/ Scheduled Caste is allowed and also for those already serving in Govt. Aided schools upper age limit is 40 years.
Essential Qualification/ Experience: Graduate/ Preferably Post Graduate in any stream with B.Ed., 5 years experience in teaching and at least 2 years experience in school administration.
3. Name of the Post: Assistant Teacher
No. of Posts: 13 (thirteen)
Subject wise Posts Distribution:
■ Asst. Teacher in MIL (Garo) - 02
■ Asst. Teacher in English - 05
■ Asst. Teacher in Mathematics - 03
■ Asst. Teacher in Science - 01
■ Asst. Teacher in Social Science - 02
Salary: Rs. 29,000/- per month
Age Limit: The candidate should be between 18 years & 32 years of age as on 01-01-2024. Age relaxation of 5 years for candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe/ Scheduled Caste is allowed and also for those already serving in Govt. Aided schools upper age limit is 40 years.

■ Asst. Teacher in MIL (Garo) - Graduate/ Post Graduate in Arts with B.Ed. preferably with Major in Garo.
■ Asst. Teacher in English - Graduate/ Preferably Post Graduate in English with B.Ed.
■ Asst. Teacher in Mathematics - Graduate/ Preferably Post Graduate in Mathematics with B.Ed.
■ Asst. Teacher in Science - Graduate/ Post Graduate in Science with B.Ed. preferably with Major subjects.
■ Asst. Teacher in Social Science - B.Ed. & Graduate in Arts Preferably with Major in of the subjects.
NOTE: Candidates with certified Diploma in Computer or knowledge on usage of ICT in the teaching/learning process, active involvement in Sports, Co-curricular activities, Art/Craft/Culture etc. besides the above prescribed qualification will be an added advantage.
