Eligibility Criteria for Assam SCERT Recruitment 2024

Candidates aspiring to apply for the Lecturer posts in DIET under SCERT, Assam will have to fulfil the following eligibility conditions:

Citizenship:

The candidate must be an Indian Citizen as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India and must be a permanent resident of Assam.

the candidate must upload a copy of the valid Permanent Resident Certificate issued in Assam for educational purpose/Employment Exchange Registration Certificate as proof of residency.

Age Limit for Assam SCERT Recruitment:

Candidates willing to apply for Assam SCERT Lecturer Job Vacancy should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01-01-2024.

The upper age limit is relaxable for reserved categories as per Govt of Assam rules.

■ 5 (five) years for SC/ST candidates i.e. upto 43 years.
■ 3 (three) years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. upto 41 years.
■ 10 (ten) years for PwBD candidates, irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and UR Category.

Assam SCERT Recruitment 2024 Application Fee

APSC has decided to launch its Online Recruitment portal with the help of CSC-SPV which will charge a processing fee of Rs. 40.00/- + 18% tax = Rs. 47.20 from each candidate. This amount will be above the prescribed application fee which is indicated below:

• General : Rs. 250 + Rs. 47.20 = Rs. 297.20
• SC/ST/OBC/MOBC : Rs. 150 + Rs. 47.20 = Rs. 197.20
• BPL/PwBD : NIL + Rs. 47.20 = Rs. 47.20

To avail application fees relaxation prescribed for SC/ST/OBC/MOBC/BPL/PwBD, candidates must produce certificate of the claimed category issued by competent authority.
