Lakhimpur DC Office Recruitment 2024 Vacancy Details
1. Name of the Post: Junior Assistant (Grade-III)
No. of Posts: 02 (two)
Pay Scale: Pay Band-2 (Rs. 14,000 - Rs. 70,000), Grade Pay- Rs. 5,600
Age Limit: Minimum 18 Years and maximum 40 Years as on 01-01-2024. Age Relaxation is admissible as per Govt. of Assam Rule.
Essential Qualification:
- (i) Must have passed Bachelor's Degree from any Stream Arts/ Science/ Commerce) from any recognized university.
- (ii) Must have minimum 6 (Six) months Diploma in Computer Application.
2. Name of the Post: Multi Tasking Staff (Grade-IV)
No. of Posts: 02 (two)
Pay Scale: Pay Band-1 (Rs. 12,000 - Rs. 52,000), Grade Pay- Rs. 3,900
Age Limit: Minimum 18 Years and maximum 40 Years as on 01-01-2024. Age Relaxation is admissible as per Govt. of Assam Rule.
Educational Qualification: Must have passed Class-VIII (Eight) from any recognized institute.

Besides the eligibility criteria cited above for each of the two posts, the candidates should also fulfil the following conditions:
- • The Candidate must be an Indian Citizen as defined in Article 5 & 8 of the Constitution of India.

Selection Criteria for Lakhimpur Job Vacancy 2024
As per the DC Lakhimpur recruitment notification, the candidates for Junior Assistant posts will be selected based on the Written Test followed by Computer Practical Test. The candidates for Multi Tasking Staff post will be selected on the basis of Written Test.
Selection Criteria for Junior Assistant (Gr-III)
a. Part-1
Written Test ( 150 marks) as follows:
(i) General English-50 Marks
(ii) General Knowledge, 50 Marks (History, Geography and Culture of Assam)
(iii) Arithmetic-50 Marks
b. Part-II-Computer test-50 Marks
Four times the number of vacancies of each categories will be called for the test on the basis of marks obtained in Part-I.
The Candidates must have secured at least 20 Marks in the practical test.
Preference will be given to experienced and local candidates.
Selection Criteria for Multi Tasking Staff (Gr-IV)
Written Test for 50 Marks (30 Marks for Assamese Language, 20 Marks General Knowledge (History, Geography and Culture of Assam).
Preference will be given to experienced and local candidates.
Issue of Call Letter/ Admit Card: On scrutinizing all the applications received, Call Letter/ Admit Card will be uploaded in district website https://lakhimpur.nic.in.
