Mizoram PSC ASI Recruitment 2024: The Mizoram Public Service Commission (MPSC) on behalf of the Government of Mizoram has recently released an official notification inviting eligible individuals for recruitment to 20 Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police (Ministerial) posts under Home (Police) Department. Online Applications are invited from eligible aspirants for filling up the following Group B vacancies under the Government of Mizoram to be recruited by the Mizoram Public Service Commission (MPSC) as given below:

Eligibility Criteria for MPSC ASI Recruitment 2024

Aspirants intending to apply for MPSC ASI Recruitment 2024 shall have to fulfil certain conditions in order to become eligible for recruitment to the Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police post. These eligibility conditions are discussed in detail below for the candidates to consider.

Age Limit for Mizoram PSC ASI Recruitment 2024

A candidate must not be less than 18 years and not more than 37 years of age on the last date of application i.e. 5 August, 2024. The upper age limit will be relaxable as per Government of Mizoram rules.

Educational Qualification Required for MPSC ASI Recruitment 2024

Candidates applying for the MPSC Group 'B' vacancy must possess Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised University/ Board.

Other Requirements for MPSC Job Vacancy

Besides the aforesaid eligibility criteria, the candidate must also fulfil the following conditions to be eligible to apply for various Group-B post under Mizoram Public Service Commission.

Mizo Language Proficiency: A candidate must achieve a minimum score in the qualifying test of Mizo Language Proficiency as prescribed by the Government from time to time. However, a candidate who studied Mizo subject in Class-X standard (HSLC) or above within Mizoram or who opted for Mizo subject as MIL outside Mizoram is exempted from taking the qualifying test paper.

Computer Proficiency: Computer Proficiency as prescribed by the Mizoram Group ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’ posts Service/Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2023.

(c) Indian and World Geography - Physical, Social, Economic Geography of India and the World : 12 marks

(e) Economic and Social Development, Sustainable Development, Poverty, Inclusion, Demographics, Social Sector initiatives, and other related issues : 12 marks
(f) General issues on Environmental Ecology, Bio-diversity and Climate : 12 marks
(g) General Science : 12 marks
The topics listed above shall cover the State of Mizoram wherever applicable.
(h) General awareness on Mizo culture, its heritage and society : 16 marks
