Age Limit for DSC East Garo Hills Recruitment 2024

The age of the candidate applying for the various posts under DSC East Garo Hills Recruitment 2024, except for Forester-I and Forest Guard posts, should not be less than 18 years and not more than 32 years as on 1st January, 2024.

For the posts of Forester-I and Forest Guard, the age of the candidate should not be less than 18 years and not more than 30 years.

There is a relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit for candidates belonging to scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Community. There shall be no age limit for those candidates who are already in Govt. Services they can apply through proper channel with No Objection Certificates (NOC) from concerned Head of the Department.

■ PAPER-I: General English including Precis Writing, Essay Writing and Drafting: 100 Marks.
■ PAPER-II: Elementary Mathematics, Elementary Science & Aptitude (30 Marks for aptitude): 100 Marks.
■ PAPER-III: General Knowledge: 70 Marks.

For Grade-IV

Eligible Candidates for the Grade-IV Post specified above will have to appear for the Written Examination in the following subject when called for:

■ PAPER-I: General Knowledge: 50 Marks.
