MSRLS Meghalaya Recruitment 2024: The Meghalaya State Rural Livelihoods Society (MSRLS) has recently released an official notification inviting online applications from eligible citizens of Meghalaya, preferably local candidates, for filling of various post on a contractual basis at the Block Mission Management Unit (BMMU) and District Mission Management Unit (DMMU), Govt of Meghalaya.

1. Name of the Post: Project Executive– Farm Livelihoods Promotion (PE-FLP)

• • Place of posting: BLOCK MISSION MANAGEMENT UNIT (BMMU)
  
• • No. of Posts: 03 [Khasi Region-01, Garo Region-02]
  
• • Salary: ₹. 31,200/- per Month
  
• • Age Limit: Must be within 30 years of age (Upper age relaxation for reserved categories as per Govt of Meghalaya rules)
  
• • Essential Qualification:
  1. Degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry from a recognized University.
  (a) Minimum 1 year of working experience in Livelihoods related Projects/Enterprise Promotion (Farm activities).
  or
  2. Graduate Degree in AH & Vetty from a recognized University.
  (a) 0-1 year of working experience in Livelihoods related Project/Enterprise Promotion (Farm activities).
  3. Individuals having experience in training rural masses are preferred.
  4. Computer Skills with emphasis on MS Office, Google Sheets etc….
  

2. Name of the Post: Project Executive- Non-Farm Livelihoods Promotion (PE-NFLP)

• • Place of posting: BLOCK MISSION MANAGEMENT UNIT (BMMU)
  
• • No. of Posts: 18 [Khasi Region-13, Garo Region-05]
  
• • Salary: ₹. 31,200/- per Month
  
• • Age Limit: Must be within 30 years of age (Upper age relaxation for reserved categories as per Govt of Meghalaya rules)
  
• • Essential Qualification:
  1. Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Commerce/ Business Management/ Agri. Business/ Rural Marketing / Development Practice/ Community Development from a recognized University.
  2. Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in Livelihoods related Projects/ Enterprise Promotion (Non-Farm activities).
  3. Individuals having experience in training rural masses are preferred.
  4. Computer Skills with emphasis on MS Office, Google Sheets etc….
  

3. Name of the Post: Cluster Coordinator- Livelihoods Promotion (CC-LP)

• • Place of posting: BLOCK MISSION MANAGEMENT UNIT (BMMU)
  
• • No. of Posts: 13 [Khasi Region-08, Garo Region-05]
  
• • Salary: ₹. 26,000/- per Month

• • Essential Qualification:
  1. Degree in Life Science, Management, Commerce, Community Development as major subject from recognized University.
  2. Minimum 1 year of working experience in Livelihoods related Projects/ Enterprise Promotion (Farm or NonFarm activities). Rural Development and Poverty Alleviation Programmes, should have worked with Organisation/ Cooperatives/ Community Organisation.
  3. Individuals having experience in training rural masses.

4. Name of the Post: District Functional Specialist- Farm Livelihoods Promotion (DFS-FLP)

• • Place of posting: District Mission Management Unit (DMMU)
  
• • No. of Posts: 04 [Khasi Region-02, Garo Region-02]
  
• • Salary: ₹. 39,000/- per Month
  
• • Age Limit: Must be within 35 years of age (Upper age relaxation for reserved categories as per Govt of Meghalaya rules)
  
• • Essential Qualification:
  1. (a) Post Graduate Degree in Agri., Horti., RDAP, Forestry from reputed University/ Institution.
  (b) Minimum 3 years of working experience in Rural Development and Poverty Alleviation Programmes, should have worked for SHGs/ Community Organisation/ Cooperatives.
  or
  2. (a) Degree in Agri., Horti., Forestry from reputed University/ Institution.
  (b) Minimum 5 years of working experience in Rural Development and Poverty Alleviation Programmes, should have worked for SHGs/ Community Organisation/ Cooperatives.
  3. Experiences in Livelihoods related projects.
  4. Extensive expertise in managing agricultural operations, including Crop Planning, Livestock Management, and Agricultural Resource utilization.
  5. Experience in engaging with local communities, understanding their needs, and fostering collaborative relationships to enhance agricultural productivity and livelihoods.
  
• • Desirable:
  1. Experience in implementing sustainable agricultural practices such as soil health improvement, water conservation, and integrated pest management.
  2. Knowledge of efficient irrigation methods, water conservation strategies, and water quality management in agricultural settings.
  3. Experience in implementing climate-smart agricultural practices to mitigate risks related to climate change and variability.
