Eligibility Criteria for RCFL Nurse Recruitment 2024

Candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria mentioned below to become eligible to apply for RCFL Nurse vacancy.

Age Limit:
■ For Unreserved category - 31 years
■ For SC / ST Category – 36 years
■ For OBC Category - 34 years

Essential Qualification:
■ HSC + 3 years course of General Nursing and Midwifery from UGC recognized University / Institution.
OR
Regular and full time B.Sc. (Nursing) degree from UGC recognized University / Institution.
■ The candidates will be required to have a valid registration as Nurse from the Central / State Nursing Council.

Experience: 2 (two) years’ experience after acquiring minimum required qualification in reputed minimum 20 bedded hospitals with Operation Theatre.

Scheme of Exam for RCFL Nurse Recruitment

The selection process for Nurse Grade II (Grade – A6) comprises of Online Test and Skill test.

Online Test:

The online test will consist of two parts: Discipline related and Aptitude related.
The total duration of the test will be 90 minutes.
The test will include a total of 100 questions:
- • 80 questions will be from the course curriculum of the qualifying degree/diploma or relevant qualification in the relevant discipline, with each question carrying 2 marks.
- • 20 questions will be from General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, and General Knowledge/Awareness, with each question carrying 2 marks.
Negative marking will be applied for wrong answers.

Skill Test:

The skill test will evaluate the practical and theoretical skills relevant to nursing.
The test will cover:
- • Equipment Handling
- • Patient Preparation/Positioning
- • PPE/Safety/Biomedical Waste Management (BMW)
- • Critical Patient Reports
- • Aptitude for Job
Marks Allocation:
- • 80 marks will be allocated for the core nursing skills mentioned above.
- • 20 marks will be allocated for General Awareness and Computer Knowledge.
Total Marks: The skill test will be out of 100 marks.
Qualifying Criteria:
- • Candidates must secure a minimum of 60 marks to qualify.
- • SC/ST candidates need to secure a minimum of 55 marks out of 100 to qualify.

Selection Process for RCFL Nurse Recruitment 2024
