Eligibility Criteria of Apprentice Vacancy in Canara Bank 2024

Nationality/ Citizenship
A candidate must be either -- • a Citizen of India "OR"
- • a subject of Nepal "OR"
- • a subject of Bhutan "OR"
- • a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India "OR"
- • a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

The candidate should not be less than 20 years and not more than 28 years of age as on 01.09.2024 i.e. candidates having DoB between 01.09.1996 and 01.09.2004 (both dates inclusive) are eligible. However, relaxation in upper age limit for categories like SC/ST/OBC/PWD etc. as per Govt. of India guidelines is applicable.
Permissible relaxation in upper age limit for different categories are as under:

- • Other Backward Classes (Non-creamy layer): 3 years
- • Persons with Benchmark Disability: 10 years
- • Widows/Divorced Women: 5 to 10 years depending on the category she belongs to
