Mizoram PSC Recruitment 2024: The Mizoram Public Service Commission (MPSC) on behalf of the Government of Mizoram has recently released an official notification for conducting the Agricultural and Allied Services (Combined Technical) Examination 2024. The Mizoram PSC is inviting online applications from the intending and eligible individuals for recruitment to 24 posts of Jr. Grade & Fisheries Extension Officer under various Mizoram government departments.

Details of Job Vacancy in Mizoram Public Service Commission
Online Applications are invited from eligible aspirants for filling up the following Technical vacancies under the Government of Mizoram to be recruited by the Mizoram Public Service Commission (MPSC) as given below through the Agricultural and Allied Services (Combined Technical) Examination 2024:
1. Post Name: Jr. Grade of Mizoram Agriculture Service (MAS)
No. of Posts: 05 (five)
Salary: Level-10 in the Pay Matrix
Educational Qualification: B.Sc (Agri) Degree and above from a recognized University.
2. Post Name: Jr. Grade of Mizoram Horticulture Service (MHS)
No. of Posts: 05 (five)
Salary: Level-10 in the Pay Matrix
Educational Qualification: B.Sc Horticulture (Bachelor of Horticulture Science) from a recognized University.
3. Post Name: Jr. Grade of Mizoram Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Service (MAH&VS)
No. of Posts: 10 (ten)
Salary: Level-10 in the Pay Matrix
Educational Qualification: A recognized Veterinary qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule of the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 i.e, Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc&AH) Degree and registration with the Mizoram State Veterinary Council or Veterinary Council of India.
4. Post Name: Fisheries Extension Officer
No. of Posts: 04 (four)
Salary: Level-10 in the Pay Matrix
Educational Qualification: B.F.Sc of a recognized University or B.Sc (Zoology) of a recognized University with Training in 1-year Course in Inland Fisheries Development and Administration/ 10 months course in Inland Fisheries Extension Method and Techniques.

Other Eligibility Criteria Required for MPSC Mizoram Recruitment 2024
Besides the educational qualification mentioned above for each post, the candidate must also fulfil the following common eligibility criteria to become eligible to apply for various Group-A post under Mizoram Public Service Commission.
Age Limit for Mizoram PSC Recruitment 2024
A candidate must not be less than 21 years and not more than 35 years of age on the last date of application i.e. 31 October, 2024. The upper age limit will be relaxable as per Government of Mizoram rules.

For age proof documents, HSLC/HSSLC Certificates which clearly shows the candidate’s date of birth shall be accepted. In the absence of date of birth in such certificates, the relevant documents issued by the competent authority may be accepted.
Mizo Language Proficiency
A candidate must achieve a minimum score in the qualifying test of Mizo Language Proficiency as prescribed by the Government from time to time. However, a candidate who studied Mizo subject in Class-X standard (HSLC) or above within Mizoram or who opted for Mizo subject as MIL outside Mizoram is exempted from taking the qualifying test paper.NOTE: Documentary support to prove all eligibility conditions should not be dated later than the last date of application.
Syllabus for MPSC Agriculture & Allied Services (Combined Technical) Examination 2024
The Syllabus for direct recruitment to the posts of Jr. Grade and Fisheries Extension Officer under Mizoram Public Service Commission shall consist of 5 (five) papers:
(a) Common Papers for all Services/Posts
- (i) General English - 100 Marks
- (ii) General Studies - 100 Marks
(b) Technical Papers
- (i) Technical Paper I - 200 Marks
- (ii) Technical Paper II - 200 Marks
- (iii) Technical Paper III - 200 Marks
Total of Written Examination : 800 Marks
(c) Personal Interview - 100 Marks
Grand Total - 900 Marks
