Nationality:
A candidate applying for NICL Recruitment 2024 must be either: -
(i) a citizen of India, or(ii) a subject of Nepal, or
(iii) a subject of Bhutan, or
(iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Except citizens of India, all other candidates must possess a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.
Age Limit:
The candidate should be between 21 years and 30 years of age as on 1st October, 2024. Candidates born not earlier than 02.10.1994 and not later than 01.10.2003 (both days inclusive) are only eligible to apply.
The upper age limit will be relaxed as under:
• Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes: 5 years• Other Backward Classes (OBC, Non-Creamy layer): 3 years
• Persons with Benchmark Disabilities: 10 years
• Ex-Serviceman/Disabled Ex-Serviceman: Actual period of service rendered in the defense forces + 3 years, subject to maximum of 45 years

Scheme of Examination for NICL Assistant Recruitment 2024
The NICL Assistant Recruitment 2024 includes a Preliminary Exam and Main Exam, both conducted online. Here’s the exam structure:
Phase I: Preliminary Examination
